I finally had a chance to make another of the quilt patterns that will be used as an inset in my barns wall hanging. This one is called North Star.
Even though it is only 4″ big, North Star took almost an hour and a half to complete. It has 24 separate pieces that have been paper pieced together. The smallest was 1″ square, the largest 2.5″ square. As you can see, it is 8 separate triangles that have been put together. I’m quite pleased with the results.
I hope I am able to work on another block soon.
